Definitions:

• Color front (or back) = 4 color CMYK printing
• B&W = black and white (or grayscale) printing
• Digital Printing = 4 color process CMYK laser printing
• Offset Printing = 4 color process CMYK press printing
• CMYK = 4 color process printing (CYAN : MAGENTA : YELLOW : BLACK )
• RGB = Computers monitors produce color in RGB mode - many programs default to this color mode.  You should change color modes before editing colors.
• DPI = Dots Per Inch  A standard quality print is 300dpi at actual size.  Images less than 300dpi may become pixelated.
• Raster = Images created in photo programs (such as PhotoShop) are rasterized.  This can give text a blurry appearance around the edges.
• Vector = Fonts (once turned into outlines) and graphics created in vector programs (such as Illustrator) can be scaled up and down without loss of resolution if they are kept as vectors.
